Rural Caucus Boots On The Ground
The DFL Rural Caucus is giving "boots on the ground" support to our endorsed candidates to reach voters and urge them to support DFL candidates up and down the ballot. Here's a list of the phone banking and canvassing opportunities confirmed with campaigns for the Rural Caucus. I hope you can sign up for AT LEAST ONE (1) canvass or phone bank over the next 7 weeks. Help us deliver DFL values in rural Minnesota!
If you are canvassing, please wear comfortable walking shoes, clothing, and bring a water bottle. We'll do a brief orientation before hitting the doors, and lists, lit, and script will be provided. If you prefer using your phone, this can be done through the Mini VAN, which will be set up when you arrive. Those who are phone banking need a phone, computer, and internet connection.

* Aleta Borrud, Rochester, SD 24, an environmental and health care champion, is running against an incumbent. https://www.aleta4mnsenate.com/
* Jeff Brand, St. Peter, HD 18A, is running to recapture the legislative seat he held in 2019 and 2020. He's a strong, effective voice for sustainable agriculture, climate change, and for rural communities. https://www.brandforhouse.org/
* Kristi Pursell, Northfield, HD 58A https://www.kristipursell.com/ and her running mate Clarice Grabau, Northfield, SD 58 https://www.claricegrabau.com/ are a dynamic duo who will be powerful voices for education, conservation, and family farm agriculture.
Can YOU help put these stellar candidates over the top?
A goal of five (5) volunteers for each of these voter contact opportunities is within our reach! If you are a Rural Caucus director or member, and have not yet signed up to call or canvass in support of our endorsed candidates, please consider doing so. Volunteers will be plugged in to the respective campaign(s), using the candidates' script, voter contact list, and lit.
