Angie Hanson is a special education teacher with deep roots in her community and strong ties to her family. When Angie sees a need in her community, she steps up, does the hard work and partners with everyone.

Angie served as president of her local union. She served as a school board member for Albert Lea Area Schools. When the Albert Lea hospital was losing services, Angie worked as the Local Organizing Chair of Save Our Hospital. When the Albert Lea Human Rights Commission lapsed, Angie pushed to restart it and now serves on the HRC board. Angie has worked alongside others to support her community. She wants to continue this work as your Senator.
