Joe Staloch is a returning candidate from 2024 with deep roots in southern Minnesota. He grew up on his family’s farm near Wells, graduated from United South Central High School, and earned a geology degree from Winona State University. His background includes nearly a decade in environmental services, working on hazardous materials, spill response, and soil and water protection. Since returning home, Joe has focused on the challenges facing rural communities, including health care, schools, housing, infrastructure, broadband, and good jobs close to home. His campaign is rooted in growing opportunity close to home and bringing practical, community-focused leadership to St. Paul.
