Zach Dorholt is a lifelong Minnesotan, mental health professional, dedicated father of three girls, and
community advocate committed to making our state a great place to live, work, and raise a family. Zach
earned his BA in Community Development and MS in Counseling Psychology from St. Cloud State University.
Elected to the Minnesota House in 2012, Zach served as Vice Chair of the Higher Education Committee,
championing affordable education and student success. He currently serves on the St. Cloud Area School
Board, where he works to ensure every child has access to quality public education.
Zach is also a nonprofit leader and co-founder of the Independent Music Collaborative of Central Minnesota,
promoting youth engagement, local arts, and sober spaces. His service spans multiple boards focused on
sustainability, public health, and civic engagement.
