Doug Chapin is a national expert on elections with almost 40 years’ experience.
Doug worked for 10 years at the University of Minnesota, where he founded the nation’s first online program in Election Administration. He spent over a decade leading The Pew Trusts’ elections team, enacting military/overseas voting reform in Congress and state legislatures, putting voting information on laptops
and mobile phones and expanding online voter registration.
Doug was an election attorney in private practice and served as elections counsel to the Democrats on the U.S. Senate Rules Committee. Doug holds a law degree from Georgetown, an MPA from Harvard, and a politics degree from Princeton
University.
