Mark Legvold: Veteran, Farmer, Educator – A real Dirt-Road Democrat Mark’s story centers around the core values he grew up with on the farm and continued in his career in the military and in public education: Work hard, serve others, act with integrity, value learning, and treat others with care and respect.

Mark served both active duty US Air Force and in the MN Air National Guard. His career spanned 33 years. He was both a teacher and administrator in Saint Paul Public Schools for 10 years and throughout his life has been an active part of his family farm, raising corn and soybeans. He has also served in his township on both the planning commission and as the elected clerk.
