Raised on a farm, Steve learned to be innovative. That helped him in a 41-year career at Mayo Clinic where he was a Lead Analyst Programmer managing teams enhancing the Electronic Medical Record system. He led projects improving healthcare efficiency and patient safety, understanding the best solutions come from listening to the people closest to the problem. Steve served on the Saratoga Township Planning and Zoning Board, then for 7 years as an elected Saratoga Township Supervisor. He currently serves on the Winona County Planning and Zoning Board and the MiEnergy Advisory Committee. Steve’s experience, leadership, and problem-solving skills will serve him well in the House.
