I went to college at Winona State University to study Mass Communications, and later enlisted in the Marine Corps in 2011 as a linguist where I studied the Pashto language and Afghan culture. But after my enlistment, my husband and I moved back home to Spring Valley to start our own family, and I used my G.I. Bill to get my Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.
